Glee Live! In Concert!  Was an international stage tour commencing in 2010 performed by members of the cast of the hit TV Series. Financially it is still rated as one of the most successful stage tours of all time earning over $40 million in 2011 alone.  The musical score consists solely of cover versions of already popular and famous songs (as did the TV series) but sadly was only seen as an additional revenue stream by creator Ryan Murphy, rather than a bespoke stage production that would stand the test of time: the tour ended after just 2 years and the production has never been recreated professionally since then.
