Catering - New from November 2024
We are delighted to inform you that Dolce will be managing the school catering after the October half-term break with an exciting new selection of food menu choices on offer. We will also be welcoming catering manager, Jane Shuttleworth, who will be joining us from Dolce.
Menus will continue on a 3-week cycle, and you can find out what will be on offer for the autumn term, along with all the nutritional and allergy information, by clicking on the link Menus and Allergens opposite. We will be starting on the week 1 menu after the half-term break.
The dining room serving areas will be refitted over the half-term break and we will have a new, largely self-service till system along with a new totally cashless payment solution called SelfXpress which will be provided by SchoolGrid. Please note that this will be completely separate from ParentPay, which we will continue to use to process payments for school trips and other items sold in school. Important Information About Allergens
Allergy information will be clearly displayed on each item at the counter to enable students to make the right choices for their individual dietary requirements and catering staff will always be on hand to help and advise on the specific contents of any item.
N.B. An individual student’s allergy information will no longer be displayed on the tills and, as such, the tills will not stop a student from purchasing an item.
Please be assured that the catering staff are provided with the details of those students who have specific dietary needs and will ensure that there is something tasty and nutritious available for every student to eat every day. It will take time for everyone to get used to the new system, however we feel confident that as all items will be clearly labelled, students will find it easier to navigate and find the items that suit their dietary needs.
