Accessibility Statement (Website)

Accessibility Statement

Ulverston Victoria High School is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This accessibility statement applies to uvhs.uk, ulverstonvictoria.cumbria.sch.uk, EduLink One, Applicaa Admissions+ & Microsoft Forms.

Compliance status

Whilst we endeavour to make our websites as accessible as possible, a number of the designs were created before the standards were adopted. These websites are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the exemptions listed below:

The following organisations are partially exempt from the accessibility regulations:

  • primary and secondary schools or nurseries - except for the content people need in order to use their services, for example a form that lets you outline school meal preferences.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

  • Images may not have an alternative text description. All future images will have a text description.
  • EduLink One: navigation is not possible by keyboard.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 27/01/2025.
