The weather was kind but not perfect with a strong cold breeze blowing all day. There were great performances from all concerned who gave up their Saturday to perform.

Amongst the strongest performances were:

Charlie - 2^nd in Junior Boys 200m

Grace - 1^st in Junior Girls Javelin

Penelope - 1^st in Junior Girls 1500m

Rio - 2^nd in Intermediate Boys Long Jump

Lucy - 1^st in Intermediate Girls 1500m

Scarlett - 1^st in Intermediate Girls Discus

Millie - 2^nd= Intermediate Girls High Jump

Marina - 1^st Intermediate Girls 3000m

Ellen - 2^nd in Intermediate Girls 300m

All those who finished 1^st or 2^nd will go to Gateshead this weekend to represent Cumbria competing against Northumberland, Cleveland, Durham and Yorkshire. A fantastic achievement.

Also, representing the County will be Jess, Joe, Kira and Georgia.
