Our staff and students are incredibly generous and value the importance of charity as part of their commitment to the community and their own personal development. So far, we have donated 3,910 individual meals, 291 hampers, hundreds of mince pies and £1233.34. However, 2023 was another bumper year for our school, and we were able to add another 1,353 meals to our collective total. It was a real team effort with senior students delivering hamper crates to form rooms to fill, everyone signing up to bring in at least one item and students loading them into the van on what was a very wet and windy day at the end of the autumn term.

Well done team UVHS, this is an outstanding achievement as a school, and your donation filled the Stoller’s van who kindly collected our crates of food and delivered it to the Foodbank centre.
