The Y7’s were outstanding and a real credit to the school. The team won the whole event by a massive points difference which is awesome. Some stand out performances from Isla winning the high jump on her last jump, Katlyn who won both the 1500m and discus, Chloe who had never run the 1500m before, ran an amazing race qualifying in second place, Ruby winning the 100m and long jump.

In the boys team, George won the long jump and discus, Oli won the javelin, and we also had Charlie, Ivan, Luca and Kai qualify in 2nd place in their events. Credit goes to Torvin who also equalled the winning high jump height but unfortunately didn’t qualify due to the winners having less jumps.

Well done to the Y7 athletics team. Many have qualified for the county round in a few weeks so watch this space.
